*my back wheel collapsed before I had a chance to cycle the length of Sri Lanka but I had already ridden over 1000km there in the previous month, which is close equivalent.

Totally unsupported, having to carry everything I need and complete solitude for weeks / months are going to be the biggest battle, together with heat, flies and never ending flat desert roads.

Hi, I'm just an ordinary guy with a big dream! My dream is to cycle across Nepal, Sri Lanka and Australia in a little over 4 months, starting from the end of January.

Along the way I'll encounter high altitude and freezing temperatures in Nepal, 30˙c+ and high humidity in Sri Lanka, and thousands of kilometres of uninhabited desert roads in Australia with a total distance of around 8000km, approximately 5000 miles.

All trip expenses will be covered by myself and I'll mainly be camping and self supported. I've had huge support from SriLankan Airlines for my travel arrangements and all money I raise will go directly to the causes I hope to benefit.

Through doing this ride I'm hoping to raise £1 for every km I cycle and split the amount raised between Sneha's Care in Nepal, Animal SOS in Sri Lankan and Turunc Cats Protection Turkey, all for outreach neuter and vaccinate projects of community animals in the corresponding countries. These are all charities that I know and have met personally and causes very close to my heart, and the only way to bring sustainable relief to the unbelievable suffering some animals have to endure during their lives.
