Pedal Against Hunger
Donation protected
Our challenge is to reach 1000km in 24 hour to raise money for Tato Khana Sewa, our hot food kitchen.
Over the last 50 days Tato Khana has cooked over 7000 meals for the needy and distributed over 500 dry food packages to families who are affected by the Covid 19 Lowdown.
As Nepal is still in Lock-down the event will be hosted in the car-park. Riders, including some of the top riders in Nepal, will be invited to pedal in time slots, so we can maintain our social distancing.
Our target is to pedal 1000km in 24 hours. We will have 2 bikes set up to hit our target. The ride will be shown in live feed on face book.
We have enlisted some of the best mountain bikers in Nepal to help our cause...Feeding people during the Covid 19 Lockdown in Nepal. The lockdown has left many without income and struggling to get by.
We have set up a hot food kitchen that provides hot meals to the streets of Kathmandu daily. So far we have cooked over 7000 meals in the last 50 days and handed out over 500 dry food packages to families in need.
With the economic situation not tipped to change over the next few months, we have called to duty Nepal's cyclist to help us fundraise and hit our target of 1000km in 24 hours.
The event will be live streamed on our facebook page, while riders pedal on stationary bikes, set up in our hot food kitchen. We are asking for $5 for every Km ridden. You can sponsor as many KM as you like.
Help us ease the hunger.
