By now, many of you have heard that Denise Nystrom had a heart attack on February 13, and she passed away on February 17.

Her family and friends are devasted at this sudden loss. Denise was beloved by all who knew her, and she was a wonderful person, with a giving spirit and a great sense of humor. She was a valued member of the Maxar facilities team, and always ready to lend a hand if you needed her. If you ever had the pleasure of speaking with her, you likely left with a smile on your face. 

Denise loved her family dearly. She had two daughters, Jennifer and Ashley, and a son, Mike. She also had three granddaughters (Natalie, Adrianna and Rachel) and she spoke of her “babies” often. She supported her daughter Ashley and granddaughter Natalie—both of whom lived with her in Lakewood, Colorado. Denise was a dedicated, delightful member of the Maxar Facilities team.

We are raising money for the family, as you can imagine they will be incurring large medical and funeral costs, and would benefit from additional funds to support them as they cope with their loss. 

Denise will be greatly missed—as a mother, grandmother, and a friend to all. Her family would greatly appreciate your support at this time. No donation is too small.
