Hi,

My name is Ron and my coworkers and I are trying to raise money for our friend Mark Mulligan, who is battling leukemia. Mark was diagnosed after dealing with aches and pains, fever, and crippling fatigue for months on end.

Being in the hospital was difficult enough during the holidays, but due to the latest Covid spike he was not allowed visitors, which made his ordeal even worse.

Mark has undergone his first chemo treatment but his white blood cell and platelet counts are still low. His doctors say the numbers are heading in the right direction. He remains fatigued and is unable to enjoy his lifelong passion for reading and fantasy football, but keeps occupied with audio books and streaming his favorite movies.

He has now left the hospital and will be undergoing 4 months of outpatient care at the Alfond Health Center in Augusta.

Though he has excellent insurance this sickness is going to be a strain on his finances. Hospital stays are expensive, and there will likely be more to come. These funds will also help him keep up with mortgage and car payments. If some of Mark's numerous friends could help out with a donation, it could help him down the road to recovery.
