On Monday, August 12th, 2019, Greta and her friends were hiking in Starved Rock State Park and had a beautiful day. As they were leaving, the car Greta and two of her friends were in was hit by a truck. She was air lifted to OSF Healthcare Children's Hospital of IL in Peoria. Greta has broken bones, internal injuries and traumatic brain injury.
On Monday, August 19, 2019 Greta was moved to Luries.
