Hi I'm Zoe and starting a go fund me to help raise funds for my sisters dog Pearls vet bill. My sister Kyla, got Pearl 6 years ago as a pup and she is pretty much her baby. Her giant very drooly fur baby.

Unfortunately early hours this morning Pearl became unwell with a hard stomach and whimpering in pain. With no emergency vets in town she had to rush her down the coast, with an initial $200 fee, they've examined her and have found her bowel/stomach is twisted and will need emergency surgery to save her. The approximate cost being between 9000-11000.

The procedure for Gastric Dilatation-Volvulus (GDV) where the stomach twists. It involves untwisting the stomach, potentially removing damaged tissue, and securely suturing it to the abdominal wall to prevent future twisting.

Obviously in this economy times are tough for everyone and Kyla simply doesn't have that amount floating around. This is where we are calling on our beautiful community to please help her save Pearl. My sister Kyla is such an animal lover and can't even drive past an animal thats been hit by a car. She will always check to see if she can help them.
