Pear Tree Nursery (Quarry House) Purchase a Defibrillator

As a local childcare provider in the Audley area of Staffordshire, we want to make sure that we are prepared to the best of our abilities, in the event of a medical emergency occurring. We pride ourselves on building strong community relationships and our ethos at Pear Tree Nursery is to care for the community around our Nurseries as well as our families, children and practitioners who attend.

Our nursery team have recently participated in Paediatric First Aid Training, and our practitioners were required to train with defibrillators. After researching, we discovered that our nearest local defibrillator to the Quarry House setting is more than 2 minutes away from our nursery, which could be detrimental to anyone in a medical emergency.

This is why we are fundraising to have our own Defibrillator installed on the outside wall of our Quarry House setting, it will be facing the Huws Gray builders yard and stored in a locked heated cabinet, with instructions to operate next to our cabinet, easy for all within the community to access.
