Peanut's hospital and surgery fund

Hi I'm Franchesca Heridia, this fundraiser is for my toy fox terrier Peanut. She is 9 years old and generally a very peppy and slightly crazy little girl! We moved to key west over a year ago from Philly suburbs in PA, she has been enjoying the sun and chasing lizards and walks by smathers beach. Recently her big sister Coco ran her over (unintentionally) while going potty and resulted in Peanut having no motor function or feeling in both hind legs. She was initially seen by a vet in big coppit where she was diagnosed paralyzed and recommended I take her immediately to a surgeon in Miami. She is currently hospitalized at the Miami Veterinary Specialists and in good care.

I received MRI results today 8/2 that she has 2 herniated discs on her right side and while she was still under anesthesia was sent to surgery immediately. I am expecting more info post surgery. And plan on updating this page as more info comes in.

Her expected medical bills range from $3,500-$9,300 for surgery and hospitalization. Once I have a total I will post pictures of the invoice but will start donation goal on high end and adjust if needed.

Any and all donations are GREATLY APPRECIATED, this will be a long road to recovery for her including physical training and crate restriction for 8-10 weeks. Also a long road for myself to recover financially, again thank you for any donation and thank you for even taking the time to read our story.
