Peanut needs your help to pay for her life-changing surgery

Hi, my name is Peanut, I’m a six year old French Bulldog who desperately needs an ear operation – without surgery, the vet anticipates that my condition could progress into partial face paralysis.

I have suffered years of chronic ear infections which were never treated properly due to my previous owners being unable to afford the vet bills. This neglect has subsequently resulted in the need for the removal of my ear.

I recently came into the care of Hallswood Animal Sanctuary and we are now asking animal lovers across the world to help fund my ear operation. Rackheath Vets in Norwich, Norfolk has very kindly agreed to discount their fee, but we still need to raise £1800 to pay for my surgery.

Although the operation will leave me deaf on one side, the good news is the surgery will relieve me of the pain and discomfort that I have endured for many years.

Hallswood Animal Sanctuary rescues, supports and advocates for wildlife, and at times domestic animals. Through rehabilitation, education and community outreach the organisation works to better the lives of animals in Norfolk, and it relies on the generous support of individuals and organisations to fund its work.
