Peanut needs our help. She's not ready to let go!

On August 17th, Peanut was acting like her silly self in her bed on the couch, as usual, when her bed flipped over and she fell off the couch and hit her head. We immediately brought her to the emergency vet. She has been monitored 24/7 since then in case of seizures. Her eyes were rapidly going left to right, she couldn’t stand and kept falling on her side.
Even though her heart rate is slightly better and her eyes aren’t swiping left to right as rapidly as they used to, her state remains quite the same unfortunately. The good thing is she isn't getting worse and she hasn't had any seizures as of today. The neurologist who saw her on Aug. 19th, suggested we put Peanut under anesthesia for an MRI to look at the brain and see if there are any bruises, bleeding and such and go from there. Peanut is such a little fighter and she is such a brave little girl. As you can imagine Craig and I are extremely affected by this tragedy. We love our wee baby so much and we’ll do anything we can to find out what’s going on and improve her health.
I never thought I would ever end up setting up a GoFundMe account, but here I am... Vet bill is getting higher and higher everyday. It's a financial stress added to the emotional stress... We are close to $6,000 so far. But what are we supposed to do? We want what's best for our wee baby. If there is any chance to save her, we will do what we have to do. She's not letting go, so we will keep helping her. I trust the Universe. What is meant to be will always find its way.
Craig and I can't thank you enough for the kind words of support and encouragement. Keep on sending prayers, positive thoughts and good vibes our way and most importantly Peanut’s way.
We appreciate all of you and we apologize for not always answering your texts and messages. Please understand this is quite draining and between work hours and visits with Peanut, we have very little time to recharge the batteries. Please keep our wee Peanut in your thoughts as she's still fighting to get better ❤️ We are devastated
