Our Heartbreaking Reality

Our sweet dog, Peanut, is facing a heartbreaking and urgent medical situation, and we're asking for help to give him the care he needs. Due to a serious condition, Peanut requires a life-saving surgery to remove his penis. This is the only way to prevent him from living in a state of constant pain and recurring infections. The costs for the surgery, specialized follow-up care, medications, and recovery supplies are more than we can afford right now, but we refuse to let money be the reason he continues to suffer.

Peanut’s Story: From Abandonment to Family

Peanut has already been through so much. We rescued him from ACCT Philly in September 2023 after he was found tied to a pole in the city—left behind and forgotten. We promised him then that his life of neglect was over. Shortly after bringing him home, we discovered he suffered from extreme "happy tail," which led to the difficult decision to have his tail amputated. He handled that recovery like a champ, but soon after, we realized he was facing another hurdle. After many visits to various vets and specialists, it became clear that this complex surgery is his only path to a pain-free life.
