Peak to Peak for Jasmine the Warrior Princess!

Hi, my name is Macy and I'm fundraising for Jasmine the Warrior Princess. Alongside my Stepdad and boyfriend, we are aiming to complete a challenge called ‘peak to peak for Jasmine the warrior princess’. We will be climbing Scaffell Pike the largest mountain in England at 978m above sea level and Snowdonia 1,085m above sea level making it the tallest mountain in Wales.

This is all in aid of an amazing resilient 7 year old girl called Jasmine, who we know as the most amazing best friend to my little sister Harlow. Unfortunately, at the beginning of this year Jasmine was diagnosed with cancer, following an MRI. Jasmine was then admitted to Oxford children’s hospital for a second MRI, which showed that the location of the brain tumour is rare and that children with tumours in that location have a low survival rate. Sadly, the outcome of these types of tumours are not good. Jasmine has at best 12-18 months before the tumour grows to the extent that she will unfortunately pass away.

This is why we are pushing very hard for peak to peak for Jasmine the warrior princess as we want to raise awareness and raise as much money as possible to support Jasmine and her family through this difficult time. Jasmines strength and fight through this battle so far has been unbelievable. If jasmines not giving up the the fight, then nor are we but with little options remaining for treatment the battle is now on for raising money in order to be able to send Jasmine abroad for a clinical trial. As currently there are no clinical trials or treatments in the UK for this kind of tumour. Although Jasmine hasn’t been accepted onto a clinical trial yet, we do hope this changes soon. Therefore, we are raising this money to be able to make this possibility a reality to save Jasmines life.
