Peach's End of Life Costs for R and M

I'm raising funds for the end of life medical and cremation costs of my friends R and M's dear cat Peach. After a month of mourning their tiny lap cat princess, there are a couple urgent financial issues to be addressed:

R and M are both working multiple 1099 jobs which are only covering their basics. They each lost a couple days of work when Peach passed, and they simply must recoup these costs in order to keep managing bills that have been lagging behind over the past month.
It's time to pay back taxes, and the cash for Peach's costs came out of money intended to pay off last year's taxes.
R maxed out their credit cards paying for insulin and expensive diabetic-appropriate cat food. Those cards need to be paid down enough to be usable again.

Peach was 13 years old and had diabetes which was being treated. She had a severe sugar crash and mania which took her to the emergency hospital in the wee hours of March 26, 2025. Once there, the veterinarian identified that her blood levels were off in a number of ways, which indicated that the crash was only secondary, there was underlying organ disfunction due to age and complications from the diabetes. Resolving her immediate distress would have required in-patient hospitalization, but was not going to bring her back to health, it was going to leave Peach an invalid for only a short remaining time. To save her that scary and painful end, she was put to sleep in her parents' arms.

The $2,000 will cover $1,500 in vet bills and cremation, $400 to cover lost income, and $100 to get the credit cards usable again.
