Hey. On 1/19/2024, Ofc. Salazar and Ofc. Y. Gutierrez responded to an animal call involving 6 month old Peaches getting hit by a car. When we arrived, we found Peaches curled up on the floor in a pool of her own blood. She was crying and clearly in a lot of pain. We made the decision to take her to a nearby 24 hr Animal Hospital (LeadER Animal Specialty Hospital).

Vet Tech’s let us know that a possible amputation of her leg would be necessary depending on the extent of Peaches’s injury.
