Taking full advantage of what college has to offer me, I am setting my sights high and far. I will be headed to Stockholm, Sweden on May 18th, 2013, just 24 hours after my Graduation. I am working on finishing the last few credits of my B.S in Creative Advertising. I am going to Sweden with other classmates to present and work with international fashion-leaders, H&M on a new advertising campaign as a part of an accredited International Business Seminar. We will spend 2 weeks together executing our final designs and ideas to H&M executives, tour leading advertising agencies, explore famous Sweden sights and gain a world of new insights!
Great News, right?!
This program alone costs $6,000 due to tuition/room&board.
I am looking to help cut the expensive cost of Europe in half by asking for help from family, friends and strangers alike. Debt really sucks, but sometimes you only have one opportunity to fully grasp.
WHAT??
Due to my over-ambitious and seemingly ballsy attitude to push the envelope, I decided that if I'm already in Europe.. why not EXPLORE all of it?! After my Study Abroad program ends, I will be taking off solo and backpacking what I want to see of Europe. This costs $90.00 a day on average according the to Backpacker Index. This includes student hostiles, food & a few beers! FUND A DAY ON MY ADVENTURE!
WHY??
I want to see AS MUCH AS THE WORLD AS POSSIBLE before my time is up. If I am already headed to Stockholm and Copenhagen for my H&M Internship, this is the opportune moment to take the time I want, to see what I want, to taste what I want and to learn as much about international advertising and maintaining global branding & communications through social media platforms. A day in Europe on average is $90.00, including admission to museums or the looking out from the Eiffel Tower! FUND A DAY ON MY ADVENTURE!
I want to reach out to local companies, coworkers, friends and families to help sponsor my trip and follow me on my Great Advertising Adventure! Even if 50 people donate $50, that makes a huge difference from taking out a student loan. (THIS IS WHAT I DON'T WANT!) A day in Europe is only $90.00, including tips, food, tours and the exchange rate. FUND A DAY ON MY ADVENTURE!
