Take a humble custodian... add Peace, Love, Understanding and TUBA...and together, you get magic!

I am taking an unfortunate incident that happened to me the evening of July 23rd and turning it into a positive, upbeat and inspirational outcome.

Lemons to Lemonade!

Our country needs racial healing and better understanding.  There is a racial tension and mistrust in the air, fueled by greedy media, manipulated by "Race pundits" and hate mongers, who are wanting to feast on our fear and our vulnerabilities.  

I am going to help change that.

I need to be a teacher/performer again, because I have experience and talent that should be shared.  I have many stories to tell.  I need to talk to people about the power of celebrating and embracing our diversity.  We are all decorations, colored by God and Nature.  We are different, but we are all awesome.... and no hate speech or hateful symbols can change that.

We are all loving human beings.  I want to help people remember that.

With your help, I hope to travel the country and do a series of performances at various venues, large and small, wherever I can share my music and stories.  I will share my love for the future of this Great Republic, as well as my hopes and dreams for Peace, Love and Understanding for all Americans, through the celebration of racial diversity and tolerance.  I will play tuba, share stories from my book, "The Adventures of TubaMan," and facilitate discussions about racial understanding.  

Please help me make this come true. I need your help to cover travel costs, rehearsal space, accompanist fees, and the costs to repair my 30 year old, beat up tuba, which has traveled the world with me.  Tuba repairs alone, could cost over $1,500.

If I have to walk to every location I go to, I will. If I have to beg, I will.  All I know is that this is what I have been born to do. And what I've been through recently reminded me of that.
