Dear Family, Friends, Coworkers, Church members, Fellow Harley enthusiasts and Compassionate Acquaintances
As many of you know, on Friday March 18th., Bruce and Kelly Pfeiffer were in a motorcycle accident on I-5. What followed was a series of phone calls (the ones you hope you never get) that inform you that your loved ones have been in an accident, and are in the trauma unit at Kaiser Hospital.
In that moment, all you want to know is, "Will they be OK?"
You can never quite prepare yourself for what happens next, but you pray, and feel God's presence, and you know He will meet you right where you are.
The events of that day in many ways seem so long ago. Three surgeries later (with one more still a possibility) Bruce and Kelly are concentrating on the long road of rehab still ahead.
Now that some of the shock of the whole ordeal has passed, reality is setting in, and the emotions of it all are catching up to them.....
...... So grateful to be alive, and so overwhelmed by the responsibilities of life that don't go away because you are in a hospital bed. This challenge, had it only involved one person, would be enough. But the fact that its both Bruce AND Kelly, of course has made it doubly hard.
THIS IS WHERE WE COME IN!
As all of us know, healing is not just physical, it's emotional and mental as well. Only Bruce and Kelly, with the help of their Dr.'s and God, can advance their physical healing. But if we can help minimize their financial anxieties, it would go a long way to their overall recovery.
The love and support you have all shown Bruce and Kelly during this time, has been their encouragement and strength! If you are unable to help financially, please know that the friendship and assistance you give in other ways, is also a major a part of the recovery puzzle!!!!!
On behalf of Bruce and Kelly, and all of their family,
We want to thank you, and let you know how grateful we are for you all!!
God Bless
