Tokyo Marathon Charity Run for Peace Wanko Japan
Donation protected
Welcome to our fundraising page! We are Justin Zylberman, Madeleine Turk, Mitch Prosperi, and Jacob Ives, and we are lacing up to run the challenging 26.2 miles of the Tokyo Marathon as charity runners for Run with Heart.
We're running in support of Peace Wanko Japan (https://peace-wanko.jp/), an exceptional organization that aids in adopting dogs into loving homes and trains some dogs to serve in disaster relief and therapy roles.
Established in 1996, Peace Winds Japan has spread its wings in 36 countries and regions, from the Middle East to Africa. In addition to their international reach, they are deeply involved in addressing domestic social issues in Japan, including disaster recovery in West Japan and the Tohoku area, offering healthcare, and revitalizing tourism in less populated regions. Their "Peace Wanko Japan" project has achieved an impressive "zero kill" milestone in Hiroshima Prefecture, where dogs and cats once suffered from high euthanasia rates.
Whether you're a runner, an animal lover, or someone who believes in supporting good causes, we'd be honored to have your backing. Every donation, big or small, and every word of encouragement means the world to us. Join us in this incredible journey by donating below!
