Peace of mind for Erika and her girls

As many of you know, this year has been particularly hard hitting for Erika, Mia and Ruby. Ruby has been dealing with health issues since last February with various inpatient and outpatient treatments. She has been in Denver since late July in inpatient mental health treatment and is slowly meeting healing goals. Erika and Mia have been traveling to spend time with her on weekends. Within the month, she will be in outpatient treatment, first in Denver, then back home in Burlington. Erika is taking leave from work to be with her in Denver for this month and then to support her at home. One can sense how quickly the bills add up—medical, flights, lodging, unpaid work leave, Mia’s care while she is gone…

I know how much everyone cares deeply for Erika and how all of us have wanted to help in any way possible. We also know how private and self reliant this strong soul friend of ours is. This is a way to help without overwhelming her, and she has given me permission to put this out there. Anything you can help with is appreciated.
