My Name is Chris , I’ve been homeless for the last 9 months . My father and I was kicked out our apartment after living there for 14 years . Due to the disrespect and unsafe environment for me and my father we couldn’t stay.  I traveled from Brooklyn to the Bronx where I thought family was the best option for us then turned out to be the beginning of my hell . After not Being able to stay in the Bronx  for a month due to my one family member being dangerous to the household. My father is 76 with Cancer and was not able to stay in those conditions. From the Bronx having no where to go , we went to a shelter but unfortunately was not able to find a comfortable spot for my father.  Now that I finally found a safe location for my father . I’ve been house hopping for 3-4 months trying to do best for myself and save the proper way but denied the good sleep a long the way .  Due to me losing sleep and having to deal with the disrespect of my own blood family for 7 months straight  , I was kicked out again only this time with two Lizards to care for , because I just ask for a lil peace so I can sleep and work in the Morning.  Many times no one cared. Now I’m literally on the streets with no where to go , many people have suggested that I go to a shelter everyone knows in New York City’s shelters Are only good for families and single mothers. As a black man I will never be able to get peace of mind in a shelter due to the fact that I wasn’t able to sleep while I was actually in my family’s home I am now literally walking every day around working doing Uber deliveries just to stay in hotels so I can get comfortable sleep recently I was in the hospital due to shortness of breath and pain in my legs wasn’t able to get the proper medical treatment so now I’m back out in society trying  raise $2,000 to find my own place, With your help and generous gifts i would be able to have peace of mind
