My dad, Phillip Que, had very simple goals: (1) work and (2) provide. For as long as I can remember, my dad was constantly working 2 jobs at once. When our family of 3 became a family of 4 with the birth of my little brother, my parents agreed that my mom would stay home to raise us while my dad became the sole income earner of our family.
On September 10, 2021, my dad suddenly passed away in his sleep after feeling chest and shoulder pain on the left side of his body, but his crippling fear of medical costs overshadowed my mom begging him to go to the hospital. He was 52. He left behind me, Mom, and my 16-year-old brother Alex.
Your donation of any amount is greatly appreciated. I am not keeping a dollar. 100% of funds will be donated directly to my dad's funeral expenses and to support my mom and little brother while my mom (who has been out of the workforce for over 15 years) finds work. Thank you so much for helping my mom and brother navigate this new, challenging way of life.
