My name is Widin, and I am fundraising to support a lovely couple in our UK community who are going through an unimaginable season of loss.

Peace’s father travelled from Nigeria to the UK to visit her and her family. Sadly, while here, he passed away suddenly, with little or no prior signs of critical illness. Just one week later, tragedy struck again when her husband’s father also passed away in Nigeria.

This young couple have been in the UK for less than two years and are now faced with emotional heartbreak alongside significant financial pressure. They urgently need support to cover the costs of transporting Peace’s father’s body back to Nigeria, where he will be laid to rest according to family and cultural traditions.

At a time when they should be surrounded by comfort and stability, they are navigating grief in two countries at once. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go a long way in helping them honour Peace’s father and ease the burden during this painful time.
