Benefiting Christian's Lubenga's Family

With deep sadness, the family, friends, and colleagues of Margaret Anderson are writing to share the passing of her husband, Christian. Unfortunately, Christian was fatally injured competing in the sport he loved over the weekend.

 

Christian was a graduate student at the University of Bridgeport, where he was on track to complete his dissertation in just a few months, earning his Master's in business analytics. Christian spent most of his life in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where most of his immediate family still resides. Margaret hopes they will acquire the Visas needed to visit the United States in the coming weeks.

 

Christian and Margaret married in San Francisco in 2019 after traveling the world together, and their son Gabby is four years old. Christian was an exemplary father, a loving husband, and a lifelong athlete. Everything he did in his life with great energy and passion. Christian was kind, generous, and dedicated to building a better life for his family through many years of hard work. Being a wonderful father to Gabby was a matter of great pride for Christian and he considered fatherhood to be one of his most significant accomplishments. Although Christian left us physically on March 13th, 2022, the beauty of his soul will remain in our hearts forever.
