Afternoon, my name is Shane Witham and I'm fundraising for my good friend Shaun and his wife Melissa. We are all part of a very big amazing family at Warwick conservation area. Unfortunately Shaun took a big fall from a ladder while he was trying to clean his gutters on his roof on top of his trailer and he ended up breaking his wrist and his ankle and foot as well as his back. Shaun will be in rehab for months for sure and unfortunately it stems on top of another very unfortunate incident where he had to lose one of his fingers about 3 months ago.

Not only did we feel that Shaun having to lose a finger was very unfortunate but now this just happened a few months later.

Shaun is an amazing father and a great husband as well as a great friend for many of us here at Warwick conservation area.

Personally, Shaun is my direct neighbor and I couldn't ask for anybody better to be able to be there for me when I'm not here. Shaun and Melissa are two of the kindest people any of us could ever meet on the planet. I will never forget when I wasn't here and I saw someone on my camera and then Shaun hunted them down and figured out who it was and looked after the matter for me. He and Melissa have always looked after my property when we aren't here including cutting my grass and for obvious reasons being security for my property.

Unfortunately due to his previous accident he wasn't able to go back to work and now that this has happened he especially isn't able to go back to work for a month or maybe even a year or more.

Shaun and his family would definitely not like the fact that I'm trying to help them this way because they are very proud and would not like to accept any money but I feel that we as a community, friends and family can definitely help these people out even if it's only donating $20.
