Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un. “We are indeed Allah’s property, and to Him, we will all return.”

With tear-filled eyes, we remember our Sister Holly Garza. Her incredible care for others, her always being there for those grieving and struggling with life's ups and downs will never be forgotten.

It was her persistent request to have more gatherings and support for the Convert and Latino communities that inspired much of the work that Ojala Foundation is known for today.

We ask that you all pray for her, that all the good she did in this life be multiplied and all her shortcomings erased.

Please keep all of her friends and family in your prayers as well, this is a big loss for many people.

Please allow us the ability to fulfill our Amana to our sister and her last right by donating generously to provide her with a proper Janaza. All additional funds will be given to her eldest brother Jason Barron who has agreed to release the funds to Ojala Foundation to cover all previous and future funeral-related costs and to help us provide for Holly's only surviving child, Evelyn.
