Beating Cancer

My mother, Anne was diagnosed with an aggressive form of thyroid cancer and was given a poor prognosis. My mother is my hero, the most selfless, caring and compassionate woman, who throughout her life has given unconditional love and kindness to those she loves. She is always there for others, and goes above and beyond with everything she does. Her heart is endless and her spirit is strong. The prognosis of this devastating form of cancer has shaken our family to the core - it was shocking news and although my mom is fiercely independent, finances for alternative treatments are taking a toll. My mom is not one to ask for help- so I am doing it for her. My brother and I (plus two grandchildren) need her around and cannot imagine giving up on the woman who has taught us to fight for everything we hold dear- and for both of us- that is her! We love her to pieces and it is devastating seeing her go through this journey. My mom is an incredible woman in every sense of the word and we are attempting to fight this battle along with her. By helping my mom, you are not only helping her fight an aggressive cancer, but also helping a family who is heartbroken by the shortcomings of traditional medicine and a gloomy and uncertain future.
