I never thought I’d be in a position to write something like this, but right now I’m doing everything I can to help my sweet dog, Pearl.

Pearl is more than just a pet—she’s family, my comfort, and my baby. Recently, she started getting very sick very quickly. She’s not eating, not walking like she normally does, and her body has become swollen and hot, especially around her belly. It’s been terrifying to watch.

We’ve been to the vet and are continuing to run tests, but so far no one has been able to give us clear answers. We’re still searching, still trying, and not giving up on her. Every test, treatment, and overnight stay adds up fast, and I’m doing everything I can—but I can’t do it alone.

If you know Pearl, you know how loving, gentle, and special she is. She deserves every chance to get better.
