Jeffrey's Medical Expenses

On Friday May 12th, at 5am I found Jeffrey in bed unresponsive, I called 911 while performing CPR. Sometime between 2:30am & 5am Jeffrey vomited and asperated. He was rushed to the ER, where he was intubated and sedated. During this time we found out Jeffrey had damage to Kindey's functing at 33%, Liver and Lungs. From ER we were admitted to ICU, he was being pumped full of IV medication while numerous tests were being performed. They set him up for temperary Dialysis with a second cenral line incase kidney functions dropped further. At this time we were unsure of brain function. We did not know how long Jeffrey had been down with out oxygen. By the grace of GOD and tons of prayers, tests came back kidney function was going up. Jeffrey remained intubated and sedated for 32 hours during this time Jeffrey would come out of sedation a little and want to communicate with us by trying to write. Not a whole lot made sense but we knew brain fuction was working.  He started to fight it Saturday which at that time they decieded to pull the breathing tubes. We remained in ICU for the next 24 hrs. On Sunday, he had and EGD done to find out where the blood was coming from when he got intubated. Dr. said there was no ulcer or tumors, just thin stomach lining. They did find another infection Entrobacter Aerogenes in the lungs which they hit hard with IV antibotics. Jeffrey was downgraded to a room down stairs where we spent the next 4 days. As days passed we found out Jeffrey most likely had Pneumonia for about a month along witch created his body to develop metabolic acidosis, and severe dehydration. All of this mixed with exhaustion and horrible energy drinks and stress, his body was shutting down. All of Jeffreys tests were coming back with good levels it was a miracle that all major organs were within normal limits. Jeffrey is a miracle to say the least. We are now home resting. Recovery time for Jeffrey will be 1 to 2 months at least. Any thing will help cover medical bills that will be coming in. Thank you for the bottom of our hearts! God Bless
