This is a fundraiser for a Portland antifascist who is facing multiple nonviolent felony charges resulting from the demonstrations downtown after the police murder of Robert Delgado, a houseless man who was living in Portland.
They have lost their housing, job, and potential new jobs due to these charges and continue to face challenges of state repression.
These funds will be used to for legal defense and any excess funds will be used for mutual aid in Portland.
Multnomah county public defenders are currently overwhelmed and overworked, they are unable to give the time and effort to their case that it deserves to ensure that they receive adequate and proper representation to not fall to more state sanctioned oppression.
They are trying to raise $10,000 to pay for a private attorney and for other legal fees.
