PDS Argentina

In response to the bus accident in Argentina involving Providence Day community members, we, as Providence Day alumni and students of the 2016 trip to Argentina, have collected donations to benefit those that were affected. Originally, the donations were meant to go directly to the families of those most critically injured, but after extensive communication with the school, we think it is best to redesignate the funds. As of now, we are working to get a portion of the donations to Argentina to aid the family that lost their son, seeing that we were very close with them during our time in Buenos Aires. The remainder of the donations will go to the Deven Sawyer Memorial Fund, which has been set up in remembrance of a beloved community member that was lost during this tragedy.
We really appreciate all of the love and support everyone has shown the Providence Day community during this time of sadness and recovering. We are also grateful for your patience; due to the delicacy of this situation, we have been taking the process slowly, receiving advice from various experts and authority figures. 
Again, we can not thank you enough for being a part of such a wonderful, supportive community, and we hope to take action on our plans very soon.
