Hello, my name is Maryam Rahmani and I created this fundraiser to support my friend, Mohammed Al-Shawa.

The situation in Gaza is beyond dire, and all bare necessities for life are extremely expensive, and prices are only increasing.

Mohammed and his family of five are from the north of the Gaza strip, but they are currently living in Deir al Belah, after having been displaced months ago. Their home in the north has been completely destroyed, and they are trying their best just to survive day to day life as best as they can.

This fundraiser is a direct lifeline for Mohammed and his family. Please support Mohammed and his family to purchase food, clothing, and other daily essentials so they can afford to live their lives amongst this extremely difficult time.

A young man from Gaza... ambitious for peace and struggling for life. In the midst of suffering and ruin, the Gaza Strip stands wounded, groaning under the weight of the blockade and the destruction resulting from repeated wars. Its people are living in extremely difficult humanitarian conditions, with thousands of homes destroyed, hospitals collapsing, and basic services halted. The need for all the elements of a decent life is growing. In this tragic context, humanitarian donations represent a lifeline for me and my family.

All donated funds will be received by Maryam and will be transferred directly to Mohammed’s family.
