Kida’s Surgery

Hello, my name is Cassandra and I am fundraising to pay for my dog Kida’s emergency surgery. She has been diagnosed with Pyometra which is an infection in her uterus, and is currently undergoing surgery as left untreated this would kill her.

Kida has been my best friend for 11 years. I adopted her when she was 3 months old, and she has been the most loyal and loving companion to our entire family, including our 4 children. We are willing to do whatever we need to to get her through this, but we know that sometimes it takes a village.

Things have been challenging for so many families these last few years, and ours is no different. We are a single income family (working in the non profit sector no less) and were evicted from our home in June of last year, and are now being forced to relocate our family again. Funds are incredibly low as we navigate all these changes, and that is why we are reaching out for this life saving support.

It is very difficult to ask for so much help, but Kida is one of the most important things in the world to us, and we need to do everything we are capable of to give her the care she deserves. Right now we are being told costs will likely be around 6,000. If anyone has the ability to contribute to help us pay for Kida’s surgery it would mean so much. Thank you all.
