Support Matthew's Medical Recovery Journey

Hi, my name is Janet Chapman, “JM Chapman” on Facebook.

My son Matthew is the reason for this raising of funds. He has been taking care of me due to my health issues these past 2 years and because of that, he lost his job and now has no insurance and job.

He has been searching for a job but to no avail. In the midst of still caring for me, he was rushed to Memorial this past Friday morning due to a spleen hemorrhage. He only had 3.8 liters of blood upon ER arrival and needed to have 4 pints administered before surgery. Matthew is a great son, Christian, college graduate, and a great friend. He is still in the hospital but will need a lot of doctor's visits, tests, and medical accommodations for when he arrives home.

I am needing to raise money for his care. These funds I am trying to raise will go directly to his medical care and needs during this long road to recovery. Any way any one of you can help will be greatly appreciated. Donating blood, donating money, and prayers are greatly appreciated. He was moved from MICU today to a room.
