Friends and Family, as most of you already know, two days before Christmas, Ray was diagnosed with Stage III Small Cell Lung Cancer. After the initial diagnosis, our lives got a bit more hectic between building a treatment plan, and traveling for multiple specialist appointments to find the best path in the hopes of beating this.
Ray is our father, the backbone of his family. He is a wonderful husband, a dad to 3 kids, and a Papa to 6 grandkids who adore him. He’s a veteran of the armed forces and, importantly, a good man. The best we could ever be lucky to know.
Since treatment began a little over a month ago, there have been multiple complications resulting in multiple hospital stays, and health challenges that resulted in 3 back to back surgeries. Regardless of the challenges Ray has faced so early on in treatment, he remains positive, and wants nothing more than to be at home with his family.
We are asking for your support to help offset the costs of home healthcare, rehabilitation costs, and any additional costs incurred for his recovery. Any contribution, big or small, will help ensure that his time ahead is filled with care, comfort, dignity, and most of all, love.
We thank you for your generosity and well wishes during this time.
