As Most of you now know, Bambi was viciously attacked in The West Park Area on September 17. (Bambi's story in her own words follows this post.)
It will be a long, slow process of healing and if you know Bambi like I do she is "Fightin Irish" and a strong woman.

This is hard for me to talk about but, it's time to start healing on the inside and the outside. I was raised to be fighter and it was tested last Friday when I was attacked at my home around 1am letting my dog in the house.
He came at me as I was closing the door and his hand came they and slashed my face.
My recovery will be long and painful but I am no victim by any means, I'm a Smith and a stubborn Irish woman! I have told a very few but to heal, I must shed the past and embrace what my new face has in store for me in the next six months. The one picture is kinda creepy so I apologize. I wanna thank everyone who has been by my side since this has happened! It truly means the world to me!
