Support Amber's Fight Against Breast Cancer

A week after what should’ve been the happiest weekend of her son’s, Noah, first birthday, my sister Amber was received with a devastating news regarding her health. An unexpected result that truly caught us all off guard, she was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. With the immediate action she needed to take in order to prevent the cancer to spread more than it had already, she was put straight to chemotherapy. Leaving her and her family with fear, heartbreak, and uncertainty on what’s going to happen next, but even in those darkest moments, Amber could only find strength in her faith and the unwavering support of her family and friends.

Chemotherapy tested her relentlessly, bringing exhaustion, sickness, and the emotional toll of watching her body endure so much. But through it all she was able to overcome all odds. Now, as she’s preparing to take on the next daunting steps – Surgery and Radiation – she’s required to have double mastectomy. This course of action is the only way that’ll keep the cancer from spreading. The recovery for this surgery will be long and hard along with having to go through radiation process afterwards. With only courage and determination, Amber remains an inspiration to us all. She is ready to keep fighting.

Needless to say this battle is not one she can face alone. It has been an overwhelming and challenging battle while her and her husband, Kuan are figuring out treatments in the midst of caring for Noah and themselves. The cost and care surrounding the surgical operation has been extensive. We’re reaching out for your support to help her on this difficult path toward recovery.
