Douglas needs your help

Douglas is a sweet and silly 7 year old Corgi who has, up until recently, been in great health. Over the past several months, Doug has had severe skin issues that have gotten progressively worse causing him much discomfort. Doug’s loyal owner and best friend, Angela, has followed the all of the vet’s guidance and tried topical ointments, medicated baths, oral antibiotics and steroids, along with medicated food with little to no improvement.

 

 

 

 

 

 

All diagnostic testing thus far have been inconclusive. Angela would like to continue to follow the vet’s recommendations on additional testing and consulting with a veterinary dermatologist.

 

As one can imagine, the cost of multiple exam fees and specialized diagnostic testing can add up quickly. It is never easy to ask for help, but Angela is putting her pride aside to humbly ask for the help of friends and strangers alike to provide Doug with the care he needs to bring his quality of life back to where it once was. The next step would be to bring Doug in for additional blood work and punch biopsies that would require sedation. The estimate for this one future visit alone ranges to over $1100.
