I am starting this GoFundMe Campaign to assist my brother Jesse Babcock and his family with medical costs as he begins his battle with cancer. Jesse is a letter carrier for the USPS out of the Warwick office since 2003 and a long time Coach for Warwick baseball Cal Ripken Little League, Continental Little League, and all levels of Warwick PAL Babe Ruth and most recently has been the head coach for the Kent County Kings AAU Baseball team. In addition to coaching baseball he has been the head coach for the Warwick PAL Patriots football team for all levels. Jesse and his wife Kim have 4 children. Jesse has recently been diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma of his tongue and has just undergone extensive surgery to remove the tumors and reconstructive surgery. The battle has only just begun! The cost of the surgery alone is daunting but the additional costs for the continued treatment is near impossible. Paid Medical leave only goes for so long and will not be long enough for the family to stay afloat as they support Jesse's battle. Anyone who is willing to help the family to cover the costs of his treatment and daily living expenses would be greatly appreciated. Having to battle the disease is stressful enough- but to do so with added stress is nothing any of us should endure. Any donations will go directly to Jesse's wife to cover the medical bills which insurance does not cover and any of the monthly bills which will need to be paid to keep the family going.
