Help Courtney, Hudson & Calla Replace a Car
On Friday, July 16 at 1:30 am in the morning, my granddaughter Courtney’s car was parked on the street in front of her home when it was hit and totalled by what appears to be a drunk driver in a Mercedes Benz who fled the scene (video footage & police report). Thankfully nobody was injured!
Courtney is a single mom, working two jobs to support her two beautiful children Hudson and Calla who are 3 and 5 years old. She needs her car to get her children to daycare, to get to her first job as a cashier at No Frills and her second job which is cleaning houses.
Courtney took loving care of this car, a 2008 Chevy Malibu, as is it belonged to Hudson and Calla’s Great Grandmother. She had just put over $1,000 into it over the past six months for new brakes, new tires, struts, and shocks.
Due to the car being 13 years old, she did not have collision and with the absurd cost of used cars right now, Courtney needs help buying a safe and reliable used car for her and her children. Can you help with this truly unfortunate and untimely turn of events? Any donations will be deeply appreciated.
