Supporting Family of My Sister Who Lost Everything in Gaza

I am Mahmoud, a Palestinian from Gaza living in Belgium, and I'm reaching out today in an effort to save my family in Gaza. Our homeland is enduring an unimaginable war – one that has left over 100,000 victims and torn apart countless lives, including my sister and her family. The violence, the starvation, and the relentless destruction have stripped my family of every sense of normalcy, safety, and dignity.

My sister a dedicated 38-year-old teacher once brought hope to her students. Now she has lost her job, her school and her stability. Her husband who worked tirelessly as a pharmacist saw his pharmacy destroyed – the family’s sole source of income gone overnight. Together they are raising six beautiful children each one filled with dreams that have been cruelly interrupted by this tragedy.

Their eldest daughter, Yara is only 18. She was on the brink of finishing high school, dreaming of a future that would lift her family. Rose just 15 and Menna 13 are still in their early years of learning, each robbed of their right to education and a safe home. Lama 9 and Ward 5 are just children yet they live in fear, witnessing violence no child should ever see. And then there's little Akram barely a year and four months old, whose fragile body is now suffering the brunt of hunger and cold.

Displaced to a makeshift camp in southern Gaza, they now live in a tent – one that offers little protection from the searing summer heat and the biting winter chill. The essentials of life are slipping through their fingers. Milk, food, medicine – all these basics are out of reach in a world where prices have skyrocketed, and their family is left struggling for mere survival.

I am humbly asking for your help to provide food for my sister’s children in these dire times. Donations will go directly to easing their hunger and giving them strength to withstand each day. Together, we can bring some relief, offering them a glimmer of hope, and letting them know that even in the darkest hours, they are not alone.
