Support Ollie's Top Surgery and Recovery

This is Ollie. Ollie is my 16-year-old son and he has finally been approved for top surgery in May 2025.

He has waited a very long time for this, and we have had to jump through so many hoops to get here. As I write this, I am deeply aware that his safety and existence are being actively threatened, and we are in a race for our lives. The surgery date seems so far away, and I know we may face many more roadblocks before the day arrives.

We are fortunate that insurance will partially cover the surgery. However, it will not be fully covered and it appears I will be left with a fairly sizable medical bill. Insurance coverage also will not account for any additional expenses. These will include me needing to take time off from work to care for him as he recovers, as well as the cost of boarding our large dog, who most definitely thinks he is a lap dog and poses a danger to Ollie's recovery in the first few weeks.

My hope is that with your help, I can make up the difference so that we are able to get Ollie this surgery and provide the time and care he needs to fully recover. As I learn more with regard to detailed medical costs, I will update the goal accordingly.
