Peninsula Community Theatre, located in the heart of Hilton Village in Newport News, Virginia is proud to offer quality theatre for over 50 years. We are getting ready to celebrate 25 years in the old Village Theater.
We need to restore our exterior. It's been almost 20 years since she was last painted and worked on. We are asking for your help. If you've ever been involved in a PCT production, been the beneficiary of John Raynes Memorial Scholarship Program, or have attended one of our shows would you please show your appreciation and support of the arts by donating to our "Face-Lift" Fund. Remember all donations are tax deductable.
In the early 1960's the Newport News Little Theatre and the Hampton Little Theatre merged to form what is now Peninsula Community Theatre. Throughout the years PCT has had many rehearsal and performance homes. In 1994 the old Village Theatre was up for sale and PCT bought it, renovated it and converted it into our home.
July 2018 will be Hilton Village's Centennial. The entire community is working hard to restore and revatilize the neighborhood. As with most community theatres, PCT is a non-profit organization that would not be able to exist without the commitment of its volunteers and our generous patrons. Maintaining a community theatre takes money. Maintaining a community theatre in an old, historic building takes even more.
Help us keep this ArtDeco theater looking grand.
