Hi, We are the Reid Family (Joey, Trinity, Weston and Holden) we created this GoFund me to help with the medical expenses for Holdens surgery.

When Holden was a baby, we found out he had fluid around his kidneys and his lungs but since being born the fluid around his left kidney and his lungs has cleared up itself, but his right kidney continues to have fluid around it in fact, even more than when he was in utero Our Doctor said and it refuses to drain into his bladder so his left kidney is doing all the work for both. We have been back and forth to specialists and at appts and ultrasounds and scans for him and the doctors have seen No change at all in the fluid getting better but there has been change with the fluid getting worse. His Surgery will involve cutting the tube to his kidneys to remove the blockage thats causing the fluid or if it’s a kink they will have to unkink it but they will still have to surgically drain the fluid around his Kidneys and he will then spend 3-4 days if not longer depending on how he heals after the surgery in the Saskatoon Children’s Hospital.

Then a second surgery as they will be placing a stent during his first surgery that will need to be removed 3-4 weeks after his first surgery if not earlier depending on his recovery. Our problem isn’t the surgery expenses fully as his surgery cost is covered but in fact our way of getting up there for expenses like gas, food etc as we go, as it is 5 hours there and back for us so that’s gonna be a total of 20 hours not counting stops to change the boys there and back both trips (10 hours each trip)-2 Trips=20
