Sadly, Patty has passed away.

From a friend shortly before her passing…

“I think we need to remember her wonderful smile, genuine concern, and childlike enthusiasm for helping others. And...be happy for her when she passes. Her light burned bright, but now it's time to go. Her legacy lives.“

I think we all echo those sentiments. Your gifts will allow Patty’s family to make a more peaceful transition to their lives without her.

Hi. My name is Tom Allen and I am writing this on behalf of my beautiful friend and colleague, Patty Herb. I know she has lots of relationships and goes by Pat, Patricia or Patty. No matter what name each of us calls her, her family needs our support right now.

A few months ago Patty was suffering from intense pain. It went undiagnosed and untreated for too long, until finally, it was diagnosed as lung cancer that spread to her bones and brain. She will need treatment and possible in home care if she is released from in patient hospice. This has left her family with considerable debts that will be very difficult for them to meet.

Patty’s family needs our support. For me, it’s an easy ask to give all that I can because Patty has always been so very generous to me. Simply put, Patty has lived her life with her heart. If, like me, she’s been your agency, your colleague, or, best of all, your friend, I hope you are able to help. Thank you.
