If you live in Pensacola, you have likely interacted with Ty. He's an undeniable presence at arts markets, farmers' markets, live music events, and festivals. His easy smile and kind heart endear him to everyone he meets. Ty is an integral part of the Pensacola community and his many passions are a thing of beauty. If it's artistic, inventive or related to animals, Ty probably creates it, builds it, bakes it, or raises it.

What many don't know about Ty is his heart for service to his fellow human. Ty has worked within the foster care system, in harm reduction, in education, and has mentored and cared for many children and adults in his life. If you have been lucky enough to be a recipient of Ty's generosity, love, and kindness, you know he is an amazing human.

Ty has supported and inspired so many of us, and now it's our turn to support him in his journey. Ty has been diagnosed with Stage 3B cervical cancer. It is inoperable at this point, so treatment is going to be aggressive, and include immunotherapy, radiation, and chemotherapy. Due to the time and energy this treatment is going to take and the compromised immune system these treatments will cause, Ty has resigned from his job as an academic coach at a local school. It also means that markets are going to be tough to participate in. Our support is needed to help him survive financially during his treatment. All money raised will go directly to Ty's living expenses and medical bills.
