Grow Perennial Crops Nursery into a Cooperative

Perennial Crops Nursery has been growing into a producer cooperative in MO, IL, and TN. We need funds for legal help incorporating into a member managed LLC that functions cooperatively and does business nationwide collaborating with multiple off-grid farms. We need to pay a lawyer to help us translate our unusual egalitarian structure into a member managed LLC in MO, and navigate a very confusing multi-state tax situation so we can continue to grow, and involve even more passionate people desiring to cultivate Right Livelihood.

“We are a small-scale permaculture nursery that grows hundreds of varieties of native and perennial edible and medicinal plants. The plants at this nursery are cultivated because we believe in their role in creating a more sustainable, nourished, and interconnected environment. We use absolutely no inputs like herbicides, synthetic fertilizer, fungicides, or pesticides and grow 90% of our stock on site from select germplasm. We specialize in growing hardy, low-input, disease and pest resistant plants that produce in a variety of conditions (sunny, shaded, wet, dry) and we are developing an abundant, hyper-local plant library of fruit trees, nut trees, berries, vines, natives, perennial vegetables/herbs, and groundcovers that are perfect for edible hedges, pollinator gardens, food forests, native plantings/agriculture, agroecosystems, agroforestry, silvopasture, foodscapes, conservation and restoration projects, or simply any yard or garden that has space to share with the movement towards a more ecologically friendly world” ~ Perennial Crops Nursery
