This is a very hard thing for me to do.

I am reaching out to all my friends and family to ask for help to save not only my home but my passion of my Eastwinds Sebastopols. If you know me, that's not easy for me to do.

As some may know and some may not know, the last year has been a pretty rough year. Actually, let's back that up even further. Seems like the last many years have been rough, but this last year has literally beat me down.

I am officially physically, mentally, and emotionally drained.

Short story that so many of you know, we lost mom due to complications from many years on dialysis in Jan of 2022. Then, in April of 2022, dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. That led to other scans and later we found out that there was a second cancer, liver cancer. Stage 4.

Now see, my dad lived for my mom. He busted his ass to make sure she was always taken care of and finally retired from 40ish years of truck driving in October of 22 at the ripe age of 76 with 1.5 million miles under his belt from his last employer of 12 years.

Also, for those of you that don't know, I was a CNA of almost 20 years and my back decided it was time for it to give out on me in Jan of 2021. I had not worked in close to 4 years besides being a caregiver for mom and dad and running the house.

Dad joined mom in July of 2024, their house was deeded to me. Also left to me was dad's truck, and all the household expenses to include a mortgage and truck payments. Dad and I lived off his Social Security and VA benefits. Those stopped immediately. I was never approved as a caregiver for dad until the week before he passed. I have also applied for SSDI, which is in its multiple appeal status.

I did finally find work in December, starting part-time and now full-time. Here is where I am at... the truck was repossessed 2 weeks ago. That I am okay with besides the inconvenience of no wheels. Trust me, they wanted way too much to pay it off.

Now the house is in foreclosure status. I am trying to find any assistance to help with it. The unfortunate part is the mortgage is still listed in both mom and dad's name and I have not had long enough back to work for building credit back up to do a restructuring or qualify for any assistance with it. Friends, this is 8 acres with under 50,000 left on it. This has been mom and dad's since 2002, this has been my home, my safe haven since 2011, this is also a legacy of Eastwinds Sebastopols and so many other things.

So today I am reaching out and reaching out for anything to help me. My goal is 9500 to save the house and take it out of foreclosure status.

This was a VA-backed mortgage originally and I know there are different stipulations for those.
