Let's give an opportunity to the Fab 5!

Five years ago, Michelle Coronado, her husband Jesus, and their children embarked on a new journey to move from Venezuela to the United States of America. Michelle received an opportunity to teach Spanish through a cultural exchange program in North Carolina with a J1 Visa. However, after Michelle’s contract ended, to protect the future of their young family Michelle and Jesus presented their case to the U.S. Immigration Court. The process has taken more time and money than expected, and Michelle and Jesus’ combined salaries and savings are not enough to afford their medical bills and the minimum expenses for a family of five. Unfortunately, going back to Venezuela is not an alternative due to the country’s current situation. In addition to their financial struggle, Michelle, Jesus and their three children are now facing another issue: Not having the financial resources to hire an immigration attorney and the impossibility to receive legal assistance from pro bono lawyers to support their case before the hearing on March 26th. They have not requested financial assistance of any kind, but we hope that this fund will give them flexibility and peace of mind of having the means to pay their medical bills, afford the minimum expenses for their 3 children and pay the legal fees which will allow them to work again.
