Hi everyone, my name is Edeena Rodriguez and most of you know now that my oldest son Julian Santos had a tragic accident on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2022. It was like a nightmare no mother should have to go through, for the last 15 years he’s been such a normal, healthy and intelligent young man from the day he was born and this first year of high school he just began at Collegiate he was so excited to have been accepted in, only history he had was allergies (nothing major) and all of sudden he had a seizure was rushed by ambulance to the Emergency Room at Driscoll Children’s Hospital where after labs, x-rays and CT Scans we came to find a hemorrhage in his brain and lots of bleeding that cause the pressure on his brain and that’s what triggered the seizure. He then went into emergency surgery that moment to have a shunt/tube inserted and drain all the blood, which it is still in there and still draining out as I write this. We have been at the hospital all week with the drain going on and he has been in PICU, they had been monitoring him and running more tests throughout the week and now we have come to find that he needs more medical attention and he is getting transported by halo flight tonight. I have created the GoFundMe because as I said this was so unexpected and as you all know I have a big family I will be needing to travel myself because I can not fly with him and we will have to cover expenses going and food gas all things as well as leaving our other 6 babies behind with family here and there and needing help getting them the things they need and bills taken care of for them at home a lot on our plate that we never saw coming. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated as well as Prayers for our Baby Boy to get through this all and come back stronger than ever and come home to all his family and friends especially his siblings they all miss us like crazy
