Hi, this is Wanda and I started this Go Fund me page for my oldest sister, Annette, whom a lot of you may know as Nettie. Her young kitty is unwell and needs to be taken to the PEI emergency vet ASAP for a potential heart issue. Annette has taken her kitty to the local vet several times regarding this issue and they are limited in what tests they are able to perform.

Her kitty is exhibiting signs of stress with open mouth, breathing, panting, high heart rate at rest and her blood work has indicated stress on her heart.

For anyone who knows my sister, you know what a wonderful, caring person she is. She is always the first to lend a hand to anyone in need without ever asking for anything in return. She finds it very difficult to ask anyone for help. I know this firsthand from trying to give her help myself.

She is a single income household trying to make a go of things in this crazy world today.

Upon talking to the PEI vet, the cardiologist wants to do numerous tests, which could right now run upwards of minimum of $1000. She is unsure at this point Willow will require hospitalization, or what other tests she might need.

Nettie is still heartbroken from the loss of her longtime kitty, Sparky who she lost in September 2024 at the age of 14. When Willow showed up as a stray this past winter, Annette, with her loving heart, started to feed and care for this little creature who she has become very attached to. When you live by yourself, there’s nothing more wonderful than the love of a pet.

Any amount that you could give to help Annette out with these vet bills would be greatly appreciated.

I will upload any documentation received from the vet regarding Willow’s vet expenses for total transparency.
